Can AI do all your marketing?
Yep. It sure can. But you probably don’t want it to.
Remember the early days of SEO?
The internet flooded with average (and very below-average) content, stuffed with keywords and written for algorithms instead of people. Very quickly, though, Google caught up. It started rewarding content that actually helped the reader, and the keyword-stuffers fell behind.
The same thing is happening with AI. And you don’t want to fall behind.
Here’s the thing … AI takes everything out there and averages it together. That means what you’re going to get out of AI is… average. Forgettable. Bland. Not what you want your marketing to be.
(AI wanted me to rewrite that last paragraph like this: “AI works by predicting the most likely answer, built from everything that’s already out there. In effect, it averages it all together.”
SEE what I mean?! Boring.)
Yes, AI can be an enormous help. Use it to burn through repetitive, time-consuming tasks: research, scheduling, data collection and analysis. The time you save should go straight into creating authentic marketing that shows your deep understanding of the clients you serve, what you offer, and what your brand means to the people you’re trying to reach.
