When you’re ready for marketing leadership, but your budget isn’t.

I’m so happy you’re here. I’m enthusiastic about a lot of things. Writing. Reading. Running. Hiking. But that’s not why you’re here. If I had to guess, you got here because you had a wonderful idea that led you to start an amazing company or organization, and now you need to connect with a wider audience to help your company grow. Helping great ideas, services, and solutions connect with the people who need them: professionally speaking, that’s the thing that excites me the very most.

My road to marketing

It all began with my love of reading and writing. I emerged fresh and excited from the University of Georgia with a B.A. in English and no idea how I would make a living. First, I worked at a nonprofit. Next, I became a middle and high school teacher. Then, I did the next obvious thing: I waited tables and wrote my my first draft of a novel.

Finally, I landed in marketing. Public relations, actually. That was my first job where I realized writing actually could pay my rent.

It’s been more than 20 years and a series of senior-level marketing jobs since then. I’ve led marketing in a range of industries (you can see all the details on my LinkedIn profile), and here’s another thing that excites me: digging in to a new industry and solving the problem of how I can help you connect with, educate, and motivate your stakeholders.

As a marketing leader, I am never above carrying my own weight ... and a some extra, too.

How I’m different

It’s very simple: I’ve done the work. Recently. Not only have I built the marketing strategies and the marketing teams, I’ve done the actual work. I’ve created the social media posts, built the videos in Canva, written the white paper, hosted the panel, built the trade show booth, and dismantled the trade show booth (see above.)

I can build a marketing strategy that fuels your growth.

And I can run it.
